David Stefanos

David Stefanos, MSW, RSW

I believe it is a true privilege to walk alongside clients as they navigate life's challenges and reconnect with their own strength, resilience, and capacity for healing. Reaching out for support isn't always easy, and I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely welcomed, heard, and accepted from the very first session.

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I also work from a trauma-informed lens, recognizing the ways our past experiences can shape how we see ourselves, relate to others, and move through the world. Together, we'll tailor therapy to your unique experiences, strengths, and goals, creating an approach that feels meaningful and fits your life.

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with depression, navigating a difficult life transition, processing trauma, or simply feeling stuck, you don't have to face it alone. Therapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of your experiences, and build the tools needed to move forward with greater confidence and self-compassion.

Above all, I hope to provide a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where you feel safe to be yourself. My role isn't to tell you who to be or how to live your life—it's to walk alongside you, helping you better understand yourself, develop practical coping strategies, and create lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.

I believe that healing happens through connection, curiosity, and self-compassion. It is an honour to be part of that journey and to support my clients as they build lives that feel more authentic, balanced, and fulfilling.
